Count Guy van den Steen was also an archaeologist when the mood took him. He took part in numerous digs, especially in Italy. This little flat recipient equipped with a fairly long and narrow spout comes from a Greek necropolis, excavated at Sant’Angelo a Fasanella. The exact function of a gutus is unknown.
